The Sierra Norte Greenway, an old railway branch that linked the Zafra-Seville line with the Cerro del Hierro mines, through which the extracted ore was transported,  now recovered for the enjoyment of all, it has a total of 19.44 kilometers of minimal difficulty, nestled in the  Sierra Norte de Sevilla Natural Park .

Until halfway through the walk, we will be accompanied by the  Rivera del Huéznar, on whose margins grows one of the best riverside forests in  Andalusia. In its upper section are the  Cascadas del Huéznar , declared  Natural Monument. Alders, ash trees, willows, elms and honeysuckle, among other flora, dot the landscape.

Farther from the riverbank, the Mediterranean forest predominates with holm oaks, cork oaks and gall oaks, along with small patches of chestnut, replaced by olive groves and orchards in the surroundings of San Nicolás del Puerto.

At the end of the path there is another  natural monument, the  Iron Hill ,  an impressive geological resource sculpted by meteorological agents and mining, exploited since Roman times, it reached its maximum splendor in the 19th century, when the Poblado Minero was built, following architectural guidelines of English origin, the landscape it left behind it's amazing. 

The route along this Greenway, through the municipal districts of  Saint Nicholas of the Port , Constantine  Y  Cazalla de la Sierra , wastes  high natural and cultural values.
